Lost Souls explores the fabric of our cities exploring our fleeting presence amid the context of nature, geology and deep time. Cocooned from the natural world, our urban environments provide a space insulated from the subtleties and intricacies of the world beyond our limits. Amongst steel, glass and concrete the core elements of nature are a seemingly distant prospect. However ,against the odds, water has for decades permeated these solid structures. Under our feet and in unseen places, stalactites and cathemites are a small reminder of what lies beyond us, either miles underground or millions of miles away in space
